Because our platform provides digital services and consumes external resources in real-time, our billing and refund guidelines are structured as follows.


1. Nature of Our Services

KYCService.com provides digital, non-tangible, irrevocable services (identity verification, AML screening, biometric matching, and fraud prevention). Due to the nature of automated data processing and the instantaneous costs incurred during verification checks, all transactions are generally final and non-refundable, except as explicitly stated in this policy or required by applicable law.


2. Pay-As-You-Go & Prepaid Credits

If you purchase credits or verification packages in advance:

  • Unused Credits: You may request a full refund for any unused prepaid credits within 14 days of the original purchase date.

  • Used Credits: Once a verification check has been initiated or completed, the credit is considered consumed. No refunds will be issued for processed or attempted checks, regardless of whether the verification outcome was a “Pass,” “Fail,” or “Inconclusive.”

  • Expiration: Unless specified otherwise in a custom enterprise contract, prepaid credits expire 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-refundable after expiration.


3. Subscription Plans

If you are enrolled in a monthly or annual subscription tier:

  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Your service will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

  • No Prorated Refunds: We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods or unused portions of a subscription term.

  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. It is the user’s responsibility to cancel their subscription prior to renewal to avoid subsequent charges.


4. Exceptions and Service Malfunctions

We want to ensure you get what you pay for. You may be eligible for a partial refund or credit adjustment under the following circumstances:

  • System Errors: If a technical glitch, system downtime, or platform error on our end prevents a verification check from completing, we will credit the affected verification checks back to your account balance.

  • Double Billing: If your payment method is mistakenly charged twice for a single transaction due to a processing error, we will promptly refund the duplicate charge.


5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

We encourage our clients to contact us directly to resolve any billing discrepancies.

  • Initiating a fraudulent chargeback or disputing a valid charge with your bank or credit card issuer will result in the immediate suspension or termination of your KYCService.com account and any ongoing verification workflows.

  • We reserve the right to dispute fraudulent chargebacks by providing proof of service utilization to the payment processor.


6. Returns of Tangible Goods

As a purely digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, KYCService.com does not ship physical products. Therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges of physical items.
